This course takes you on a journey from nineteenth-century Palestinian culture to the realities of Palestine-Israel today, offering a thorough understanding of Palestine and Israel’s historical and contemporary contexts.

This course is structured into 20 lessons across 3 chapters:

Chapter 1: What led to the creation of Israel and the Palestinian catastrophe in 1948? (1897-1948)

Chapter 2: How did the Palestinians respond? (1949-2005)

Chapter 3: Is the Nakba ongoing? (2006-2021)
